The
wilderness of the canoe country is the same today as it was in the
days of the Voyageur, and when the Ojibwa Indians hunted Caribou
here. It has not changed since the glaciers of the Ice Age carved
the pattern of the rockbound lakes on which pictographs left by
the Ojibwa can still be found. Theres something here for all
ages, from families and groups to fishing enthusiasts to solo adventurers.
The air is clear, the water pure; the woods are inspiring, the sights
breathtaking, and the night sky is bright with millions of stars.
